On June 13, just a week before her death, actress Lee Seo Yi shared a heartfelt message alongside a sign language music video of LA Park PD’s “Didn’t Say a Word”. The caption read: “Sign language version MV of LA Park PD’s #Didn’tSayAWord… It’s very late, but RIP, Oppa…” She added softly, “Missing you today as brightly as I look in this clip. A bit dazed… just checking in to say I’m alive.”
The video, shot using only natural light without professional equipment, features clips from Lee’s earlier years—an unfiltered and luminous snapshot of her youth. “Oppa, did you take it with you?” she wrote. “Thank you for leaving me looking so beautiful in my prime.”

The post now feels hauntingly prophetic. As it was uploaded just days before her passing, many fans interpret it as an emotional farewell not only to the person she missed, but perhaps also to the world she would soon leave behind.
In the comments, fans have flooded her page with messages like “May you find peace where you are,” “No more pain,” and “RIP, actress Lee Seo Yi,” expressing their grief and admiration for her gentle, artistic spirit.

The message “R.I.P Oppa”, has especially touched netizens given its timing and the sentiment it conveyed. With the original video now missing, some wonder if, as Lee said, “he took it with him.” Given that this heartfelt message, expressing longing for someone she missed, became her final post before her death on June 20, it carries added weight and poignancy.
Actor Choi Deok Moon reacted in disbelief, writing, “Huh? What? Why? How…?” Model Lee Chi Seung also posted, “Are you resting peacefully now? I think I’ll miss you a lot,” conveying deep sadness.

Lee Seo Yi had remained active in both acting and floristry until recently, appearing in tvN’s The Divorce Insurance as late as May. Her sudden departure has left friends, fans, and colleagues in shock, particularly as she continued sharing bright updates on her personal and flower shop social media accounts.

May she rest in peace.
